Poll: Americans overwhelmingly support doubling food stamp value at farmers markets

(Concord, May, 2012) According to results from a new poll commissioned by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, 70% of Americans support a national program to double the value of SNAP benefits when used at farmers’ markets. SNAP is the federal nutrition program which replaced food stamps.
