The PCFMA Board of Directors
PCFMA is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors. Three of the nine members of PCFMA's Board of Directors are elected by the agricultural producers who sell in PCFMA's markets. The remaining Board positions are selected annually by the Directors then serving. In addition to agricultural producers, PCFMA's Board of Directors includes an attorney, a certified public accountant, and a former official of the State of California's Department of Food and Agriculture.
 Narsai David , President Emeritus
Narsai David is a nationally recognized authority on food and wine and a respected member of the Bay Area community. He is also the Food and Wine Editor of KCBS radio and he is heard around the Bay Area discussing food and farming issues 28 times per week.
Narsai served as President of the Board of Directors of PCFMA from its inception until he left the PCFMA Board in December, 1999 to devote additional volunteer time to numerous other civic organizations such as the Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Alameda County Meals on Wheels, the Berkeley Community Fund, and the Assyrian Aid Society. At that time he was given the title of President Emeritus in recognition of his years of leadership of the organization.
